The beginning of the year has long gone - or has the year just started ??

Many Contractors are finding plenty of on going work in New South Wales,Victoria, Queensland & South Australia. Meanwhile it is still very much another story in some of the other States & Territories. Hard times for sure. Good times here and tough times there. Does this sound familiar to some of our more senior folk - I bet it does. Patterns repeat, dont they ?

SitePlant continues to experience good growth in 2017. Organic growth. The business is now reaching out to many more clients Australia-wide, including a growing network across the Tasman in New Zealand. It may be of interest to mention that marketing with Social Media has proven to be very effective in assisting SitePlant to achieve a higher Page Ranking. Special thanks to Stu at dataNdesigns !

More business owners are now asking SitePlant to sell their used Plant & Equipment. Plenty more Buyers are finding that they can purchase good used Plant & Equipment at heavily discounted rates. The network grows & grows.

I am always more than happy to chat with any existing clients or potential new customers. Always grateful & always ready to say hello !

Sticking to the track !

One thing is for sure there can never be enough time to write regular Blogs....

A bit further down the track and the business keeps on providing me with both an income & enjoyable interesting days that can be very busy and then sometimes a little slow - but I have learnt to take advantage of those quieter periods as they don't seem to hang around for too long !

I still use the title of Formwork Broker or Formwork Brokerage, but the reality is that due to demand and subsequent growth I am now also selling many other types of Plant & Equipment including Concreting Machinery, Scaffolding, Hoists, Cranes and more.

Learning is the key & I am so grateful that I have had and still have the opportunity to do so. 

Without my clientele I would have nothing - thank you all for your continued support & custom !!  smiley

A bit further down the track


I find myself feeling very grateful for having found quite a few satisfied customers over the past 6 - 8 months !
It would have to be a good goal to plan on having all these client's come back to say hello again.

We have been very busy at SitePlant this year as a result of the steady increase in the number of enquiries coming from Buyers & Sellers Australia-wide. Activity has been strong in Melbourne and Sydney with a more recent large spike in activity being seen in Brisbane.

The new look SitePlant website has been revamped and recently published. Obvious cosmetic type changes have been made though importantly some added features should make the site more user friendly. These include being able to show more photos of the equipment for sale !

Now again a chance to say thank you to all our customers. Without you the journey would not continue

Welcome to the SitePlant Blog


In February 2014 I had one thing in mind. I wanted to start out in business as a Formwork Broker.
In February 2015 I do have a lot more things in mind!

It has been a very interesting and challenging jam packed year with plenty of things to learn about the SitePlant business. Today I am still very focussed on business development.

I am very grateful for all the encouragement and support received from many of my valued Client's and my special family. My devoted wife kept me on track during those first few months when times were much tougher.

2015 started very quickly at SitePlant. A hectic week spent in Perth at the beginning of January was followed by a very busy day in Sydney. I seem to remember lots of days then spent in my Office here in Brisbane trying to work out where Xmas disappeared to!

Recent enquiries and sales include Acrowform Slab Formwork, V-Shore and Pafili Frames, Acrow Props, a Boxer Formwork Hoist, a Climbing System, a Bridge Parapet Traveller plus Timber & Plywood.

Finding good used equipment is not easy but some great deals continue to be found all around the Country. The on going results are achieved by utilising and working with SitePlant’s expanding network of Contractors.

Goals for 2015? Growth, yes! Satisfied customers, yes! New ideas and improvements, yes!

I am looking forward to working with existing clients’ and hopefully many other potential customers who will give me the opportunity to deliver the results that matter.
